How to set-up DIANA

This how-to guide explains how to prepare the DianaIE environment for usage in the VIIA project.

Step 1 - Enable the python console

Nearly all actions in DianaIE can be done with python commands. To track how this is done in realtime the python console should be activated. This can be done in the ‘Command console’ of DianaIE.

Step 2 - Write to python console

To make sure DianaIE will write all the executed commands to the python console the preference of DianaIE should be checked. To do this the preference window should be opened:

In this windows the settings ‘Write logging to python console’ should be enabled.

Also the background colours should be set to white.

Step 3 - Set working directory

In the same panel as above you can set the ‘Default project directory’. This should be set to your workfolder.
