How to assess foundations
=========================
In the new tender specification of the new framework agreement with the NCG (Vraagspecificatie - Inspectie, Beoordeling
en Beoordelingsrapport v2.0, d.d. December 13th 2024), an appendix M3 is added which describes rules around assessment
of foundations

Based on that document, the 2 flowcharts below have been set up which can be used for the assessment of the foundation.

The assessment of the foundation includes 2 checks: A liquefaction check and a damage check. The liquefaction check can
be performed by checking the `NEN webtool <https://seismischekrachten.nen.nl/map.php>`_. For the damage check, the second
flowchart can be followed.
